Kevin Mitchell
CEX Founder & Managing Director
​Kevin Mitchell has spent the last
20 years focused on the intersection of gaming, music, film, TV, and technology. After achieving several Grammy Award nominations and winning a Billboard Award as a music executive, Mitchell noticed that technology was disrupting consumers consumption habits so he transitioned into the immersive experience sector of the entertainment business. This passion for convergence leads Kevin to become one of the driving forces
to bring the business of competitive video gaming into the classrooms
and launching an esports program
in the Sports Communications Department at Emerson College.
Davis Gagnon

Davis Gagnon is a junior at Emerson College, majoring in Visual Media Arts with a focus in Film Production. A new addition to the Emerson Esports Club, Davis is ready to get on the floor as a collaborative team member. Having been involved in studying the skills of filmmaking and a personal love for competitive gaming, Davis has a passion for the production process wanting to deliver content that highlights the qualities that Esports industries possess. Throughout his time at Emerson, Davis has participated as a crew member in many film sets with Emerson student organizations such as Emerson Independent Video (EIV).
Rick Menasce
Chief Programming Officer & CEX Brazil Managing Director
With a bachelor’s degre in Design at ESPM-Sul and a Master’s Degree in Game Science and Design from Northeastern University in Boston, Rick was the person responsible for founding and developing the Northeastern university Esports Program. He is also the founder of Press Start, an esports consulting company geared towards higher ed. institutions.
Michael Wisnios
Director of Operations
Michael Wisnios has been a part of collegiate esports since 2013, starting at Northern Illinois University's Esports Club as a coach and constitutional writer. After graduation, he started working at Robert Morris University as the Executive Director of Esports. Michael has spoken at several events: Brainstorm's Education and Technology Conference, Esports Trade Association, Charley Steiner Symposium at Bradley University, EXPLO's Yale Summer Program, Chicago Wolves Esports Night, Illinois Computing Educators Conference, and the College Esports Expo Conference on several topics within the esports industry. He provides advice and assistance to collegiate programs and students in his spare time.
